And little touches like the ultra-lightweight Schwalbe Aerothan inner tubes and Newmen wheels are just the kind of details you'd expect from a thoroughbred.We know from working with elite racers that they want a frame that's stiff, responsive and, above all, light. So these are exactly the qualities we built into our Elite 240 C:62's lightweight carbon frame, but scaled down perfectly to fit younger riders. Every single detail of the frame design is aimed at reducing weight without sacrificing strength or stiffness. A tapered head tube, full carbon fork and 12mm thru axles front and rear ensure precise steering and efficient power transfer. We kept the seatstays narrow for a comfortable ride. And cables are routed internally for long-lasting precise shifting, so mum and dad can spend less time tweaking and more time cheering.
